Caroline Squire is a self-employed communications consultant. With over 17 years working for a range of organisations in the business, charity and international development sectors, she has a wealth of experience in seeking common sense solutions and building collaboration to make projects a success.
Caroline believes that strong democracy, investment in public services and infrastructure are just as relevant today as they were under the watchful eye of her ancestor Joseph Chamberlain.
Caroline has served in the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry for over 14 years. An all female voluntary Corps that supports the military and civil authorities in times of emergency. She believes it's important to give back and support our communities, particularity in times of crisis.
As a mother, Caroline wants a stable and secure future for her children. This means good education and life opportunities. She is passionate about delivering the best schools and skills for young people.
Caroline was the Conservative Candidate for Birmingham Edgbaston in 2017. Despite coming second she polled the highest number of votes the Conservatives have achieved in Edgbaston since 1997 and increased the % of the vote by 1.2%.
She is the Director of the Conservative Alumni, also former Director, now Advisory Board member of Conservative Friends for International Development (CFID).
She believes politics is ultimately about getting stuff done nationally and locally.
